Total Commander (English) • Re: Compare directories ignores directories

It's by design that cm_CompareDirs compares the contents of the currently shown directories. In that sense the directories are compared.

If you want to include subdirs in the comparison, cm_CompareDirsWithSubdirs is the command you seek.
